House in Roma Neighborhood
2020 - Mexico City
Remodel of a house from 1910 in the Roma neighborhood of Mexico City. Although the house is located on a small plot (only 7 meters wide and 12 meters deep), the generous ceiling heights (3.80 cm on the ground floor) make it feel spacious and generous. Bold choices of colors and materials, like the green and black cement tiles on the ground floor, connects the house to its history and context.
