Nomad Pablo Neruda

Nomad Pablo Neruda is a mixed-use vertical housing development in the Providencia area of Guadalajara, Mexico. The site has a dual frontage: on one side, Pablo Neruda Avenue, one of the neighborhood’s main and busiest thoroughfares; on the other, Bogotá Street, which has a more residential character. This dual urban condition structures the project: a 21-story tower with 202 units facing Pablo Neruda, and a 5-story building with 16 townhouses facing Bogotá. These two volumes, at different scales, are connected by a pedestrian passage and a public plaza with retail spaces on the ground floor. The façades incorporate French balconies and metal screens that provide rhythm, solar control, and cross-ventilation, responding to the city’s climatic conditions.
