Casa al lado de las rocas

The house is located on a spot where two large rock formations create a natural opening in between them. By organizing the residence adjoining a long horizontal wall, a protected environment is created: a delimited place in the vastness of the Nabatean desert. The extended wall that hides the residence from view, allows the project to have a strong presence in the landscape, without competing with it.

To inhabit a house is to inhabit the natural context it interacts with. The luxury of this house, is provided by the majestic landscape that surrounds it, allowing the architecture to be silent, simple and straightforward: a quiet interface between shelter and nature.
